This quote changed my life over 25 years ago.

With this simple statement I realized that my own thinking, what I chose to focus on, what I thought of myself, and the questions I was asking, was always in the same habitual pattern or loop. I kept finding myself exasperated asking, "How did I get here again?"

I was using the same logic, same pre sub-positions, (ie who I think I am, what I believe about myself and others) and coming to false conclusions without even realizing it.

This is what unconscious thinking is.

The goal is to awaken to these patterns so we can change them with objective thinking and create a new, positive experience.

This is the beginning of something new.

For something new to occur, you must think about some things differently.

I'm going to ask you to set aside what you think you know in order for the ideas presented to take root so you have the information that will help you resolve negative emotions and gain clarity about yourself and your life.

One of my favorite prayers is "The Set Aside Prayer" from Alcoholics Anonymous:


Please help me set aside

everything I think I know

about myself, my disease,

and especially You;

So I may have an open mind

and a new experience

of all these things.

Please let me see the truth.

Step 1 - The Tools for Transformation

You can start practicing using all the tools today if you'd like, or do one at a time, one day at a time and incorporate more tools slowly over time. Whatever feels more comfortable to you.

The goal over time, is to practice all three in your morning routine. It will help set the tone for the day and help you to respond better to any negativity, inside or outside of your thinking.

Step 2 - Identifying the Causes of Isolation

It is key to identifying the causes and how to mitigate them. The course will review the biggest causes and some will have writing exercises that help you get to the root of the issues and resolve them.

Step 3 - Building Your Support System

This step is where the magic happens!

This is where we go through the process that will actually help you establish and cultivate lasting connections and add richness and meaning to your life.
